Monte Carlo, Monaco
Written by Miki Isayama
This trip has felt like a whole new adventure compared to my last visit. To be honest, I didn’t enjoy Monaco much the first time—it felt disappointing and like I didn’t belong.
I'm not usually someone who prefers a luxury lifestyle, but this time, I’ve been embracing a slower pace, finding cozy corners, and enjoying simple pleasures under the beautiful sun. One of my favorite spots was the Princess Grace Rose Garden. It was the perfect size for a peaceful walk, reading a book, or just slowing down. When I went, it wasn’t crowded at all —it might even be a hidden gem.
I also really enjoyed the Océano Museum — it was both fun and beautiful! I even picked up some t-shirts for my family as souvenirs. In this slow travel vlog (linked below), I share how I spent my cozy days in this glamorous city.
